Junior School Classroom Teacher

Two exciting opportunities commencing Term 1, 2024 have become available for Christian educators to join our Junior School.

The College invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers to join our enthusiastic, dynamic, and supportive team.

The positions include:

  • One full time ongoing position; and
  • One full time 12-month parental leave position with the potential to move to an ongoing role.

Applicants will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team setting. Graduate teachers will be considered.

Junior School Learning Support Assistant

 

The College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in the Junior School, commencing Term 4, 2023.

 

Learning Support Assistants are employed on a fixed term contract, with potential to extend the initial appointment into an ongoing position in 2024. The role supports Junior School students, alongside teachers in the classroom.

 

This position is 3 to 4 days per week from 8.10am to 3.30pm during school terms.

 

The successful applicant will have an understanding of the educational, social and emotional needs of children with special learning needs. They will be required to participate in monitoring the needs of students with specific learning needs and provide support for the classroom teacher.

 

It is desirable that applicant has experience in working with school-aged children, has a Certificate IV in Educational Support, or is studying towards a teaching qualification.
