Food Studies Assistant

Join our Christ-centred learning community as a Food Studies Assistant, supporting students and staff through practical service, hospitality, and a heart for excellence in Christian education.

The role supports the Food Studies teacher by preparing for classes, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations and maintaining clean, safe workstations.

This role is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Lesson setup and cleanup
  • Ordering and managing stock
  • Supporting catering for school events

Requirements:

  • Commitment to the mission and values of Oxley Christian College
  • An understanding of the Oxley Christian College context and requirements for ensuring child safety
  • Current or willing to acquire HLTAID009 Provide CPR and HLTAID0011 Provide First Aid certificates (previously 001 and 003)
  • Current or willing to complete Anaphylaxis Awareness training
  • Current Victorian Employee Working With Children Check and National Police Certificate
  • A relevant food handling qualification
