Casual Relief Teachers - Primary

We are currently seeking dedicated Casual Relief Teachers to support our Junior School (Prep to Year 6).
We are looking for teachers who share our commitment to delivering exceptional education within a nurturing Christian environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging learning experiences using lesson plans and resources provided by the classroom teacher.
- Support the integration of Biblical principles and a Christian worldview within classroom interactions and learning activities.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Oxley Christian College, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain a safe, organised and respectful classroom environment conducive to student learning and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with members of the Junior School community.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree in Primary Education or a related field (with teaching qualifications).
- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Experience teaching primary-aged school students, is preferred.
- Ability to teach from a Biblical perspective and integrate Christian values into teaching practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to contribute positively to the life of the College.

Applicants must be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

Hence, employees are expected to provide a child safe environment in accordance with the Child Safety Standards.
