We are currently seeking dedicated Casual Relief Teachers to support our Junior School (Prep to Year 6).

We are looking for teachers who share our commitment to delivering exceptional education within a nurturing Christian environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning experiences using lesson plans and resources provided by the classroom teacher.
• Support the integration of Biblical principles and a Christian worldview within classroom interactions and learning activities.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Oxley Christian College, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain a safe, organised and respectful classroom environment conducive to student learning and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with members of the Junior School community.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education degree in Primary Education or a related field (with teaching qualifications).
• Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Experience teaching primary-aged school students, is preferred.
• Ability to teach from a Biblical perspective and integrate Christian values into teaching practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to contribute positively to the life of the College.
