College Counsellor

Full Time (Part Time negotiable)
The College is seeking applications for a College Counsellor, full time 1.0 FTE (part time negotiable) commencing January 2026.
The College Counsellor is a member of the Wellbeing Team and is responsible for providing evidence-based Christian counselling services to support the holistic formation and wellbeing of students at Oxley Christian College. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to promote student mental health, provide counselling services, and support the overall wellbeing of students, in alignment with the College's ethos and Christian worldview.
The purpose of this position is to provide counselling services to students within the Junior (Prep – Year 6) and Secondary Schools (Years 7 – 12) where appropriate. The College Counsellor will work closely with students, parents and College staff. Where appropriate, the College Counsellor will provide a recommendation for referral out, or management within, in alignment with the College´s referral preferences.
Closing date for applications is Wednesday 3 December 2025. Applicants are advised the position may be interviewed and appointed prior to the closing date.

Hence, employees are expected to provide a child safe environment in accordance with the Child Safety Standards.
