Scholarships

Welcome to Oxley Christian College's Academic Scholarship Program, an initiative aimed at recognizing and supporting students of upstanding character who are dedicated to academic achievement.

Applications for Scholarships are currently closed and will open again in November 2024.

Scholarship Program

We have a range of Scholarships to encourage students at any stage to make a commitment to excellence.

 

Scholarshipstake into account NAPLAN results, teacher reports and how well the student embraces the College's ethos.

 

Some of our scholarships are intended for prospective* students only

Year 5*

Prospective Students Only

This Scholarship is open to prospective students who will enter Year 5 at Oxley in 2026. 

Duration:

Until the end of Year 6.

Year 7

Current and Prospective Students

This Scholarship is open to students who are currently at Oxley and to prospective students who will start Year 7 at Oxley in 2026.

Duration:

Until the end of Year 12.

Year 7 (2027)

Current and Prospective Students

This Scholarship is open to students who will be in Year 5 at Oxley in 2024 and to prospective students who will start Year 7 at Oxley in 2027.

Duration:

Until the end of Year 12.

Year 8 & 9*

Prospective Students Only

This Scholarship is open to prospective students who will enter Year 8 or 9 at Oxley in 2026

Duration:

Until the end of Year 12.

Year 10

Current and Prospective Students

This Scholarship is open to students who are currently at Oxley and to prospective students who will start Year 10 at Oxley in 2026.

Duration:

Until the end of Year 12.

Year 11*

Prospective Students Only

This Scholarship is open to prospective students who will enter Year 11 at Oxley in 2026

Duration:

Until the end of Year 12.

Registration for Edutest

Online registration for each testing year will be available from our College website from November 1.

 

Timeline

1.
Put together your child's Portfolio

Include NAPLAN results, teacher's reports showing consistently high results, plus any notable extra curricular activities, leadership roles, or competition results. 

2.
Apply Online

Apply from November for Scholarship opportunities.

3.
Sit the Test

Your child will sit the Edutest Scholarship Test on a Saturday, generally in February,  onsite at Oxley Christian College.

4.
Individual Student Interview

If your child is shortlisted, following the results of the test, your child will be invited to interview with our Scholarship Panel.

5.
Recommendation to Principal

Depending on the outcome of the Interview, your child may be recommended to the Principal who will decide the Scholarship % awarded.

6.
Notification

You will be notified of the outcome by a set date in the testing year.
