The Oxley Music Department is looking for an experienced instructor of Shoulder Strings to cover a Parental Leave position in our highly regarded Performing Arts Program.

The successful applicant will:
• teach private Violin and Viola students (approximately 6 hours)
• participate in our highly regarded Year 2 Strings Program (six periods across two days)

The full load is approximately 0.4. The load may be split into two parts, with private instrumental instruction being one and the Year 2 Strings Program being the other. Please note that the Year 2 Strings Program runs for six periods over Mondays and Tuesdays.

The successful applicant will commence at the beginning of Term 3 and will be ongoing for the remainder of the year, with the possibility of further work in 2025.

Our current Principal, Dr Douglas Peck, is retiring at the end of 2024, after a distinguished career over 50 years across several school sectors. As the Principal of Oxley Christian College for the last 8 years, Dr Peck has worked closely with the Elders and Directors of Life Ministry Centre to develop the College as a dynamic, Christ-centred school. The College enjoys a fine reputation both locally and internationally, as a school of educational excellence, equipping students to successfully live, work and serve in an ever changing world.

 

The Elders and Directors of Life Ministry Centre Ltd invite applications for the position of Principal, with a view to the appointment starting in January 2025 or by negotiation.
