Senior School

Oxley College K-12 Christian School Melbourne Australia Quality Education
Years 7 to 12

Students in Years 7-10 at Oxley College undertake common core studies, together with a range of elective subjects, as part of a comprehensive, broad-based education. The integration of up-to-date learning technologies into all areas of the curriculum further enhances the learning environment. Under the guidance of specially trained staff, senior students also consider their career options and learn to become increasingly responsible for managing their own study programs.

Students in Years 11 and 12 work towards the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) - for which some 30 different studies are offered - or towards the nationally recognized Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VET) qualification, which includes the VCE. Year 10 students may ‘fast-track’ into the VCE, or may pursue single VET units.

Languages offered throughout the Senior School are German, Indonesian and Mandarin.

During the Senior School years, ongoing parent-teacher consultation is regarded as essential to student well-being and optimal academic performance. Parents are provided with detailed written reports on their student’s progress, with coffee evenings, information sessions and other parent-teacher events scheduled throughout the year.
